Stocks up 25% plus in a month Nov 13, 2010: Part1

There are 77 stocks up 25% plus in a month. This is part 1 of the list. The charts below show the Stockbee Trend Intensity breakout or continuation breakout signals. In some cases due to low liquidity on breakout day you may not see a breakout signal as we insist on minimum 100000 shares traded on breakout day. In some cases breakout signal may not show because stock may not make 25 cent move on breakout day (that is again our breakout criteria).

The objective of studying these stocks every week is to identify a profile of stocks that make 25% plus moves in a month. These are the kind of stocks we want to swing trade as they offer opportunities for explosive gains. Our methods and scans should show up these kind of stocks at beginning of their 25% plus move. Even if we can not capture the full 25 % move even but capture half of it, it is still good enough.

From our perspective the only thing that matters in chart patterns is the patterns that show up in these stocks before the move, during the move , and after the move ends. Study these patterns in conjunction with our Stockbee Trend Intensity Breakout Guide and see if the guidelines I am indicated for selecting best stocks make sense.

Besides that study the same stocks on longer time horizon to see where do they breakout from and why putting conditions like distance from 52 week high does not make sense. If you see the longer time frames on these stocks,, you would also see the role played by liquidity cycle. Many of these stocks had low liquidity prior to the 25% plus moves.

Get obsessed about understanding what makes a stock go up 25% plus in a month. Study these day in and day out. That is the kind of stock we want to be in. If you study them every week then over weeks, months , and years you will gain more insight in to what drives such moves and how to find them right at the beginning of their move.

In Part2 of the post we will look at the remaining stocks. In Part3 of the post we will look at key financials on these stocks. In Part4 we will look at recent news catalyst on these stocks.
